Industrial Visit
III Year students of BA English Programme (Shift - I), English Department, visited Sadhana Forest (NGO), located in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, an international reforestation and sustainable living community. The organization's mission is to bring life to degraded land and educate people on the importance of sustainable, eco-friendly living practices.
Success in the CM Trophy
214 students of our college won prizes in various sports and games in the Chief Minister Trophy District Level Tournaments held at Anna Stadium Cuddalore from 17/09/24 to 19/09/24. They won a total prize amount of Rs. 3 lakhs. 250 students participated in the competitions. 67 students are selected for the state level Chief Minister; Trophy Tournament.
CSIR- NET Training
PG and Research Department of Physics organized CSIR-NET training program for PG Physics students on 10.08.2024 Saturday. Dr. Joseph Prabhakar from Central Polytechnic College, Chennai was the resource person. 30 students participated and beneftted. A series of lectures are planned in the coming months
Capacity Development Program
On 02-08-2024, the department of commerce (Bank Management) inaugrated the Joe Banco association with Capacity development programs titled " Entrepreneurial mindset: Turning ideas into Opportunities " for shift- 1 students and Stay relevant: Upskilling and reskilling for future Entrepreneurs " for shift-2 students. Dr. A. Premkumar, Senior Lecturer, University of Technology and Applied Science, Sultanate of Oman, was the resource person.ย

The function was presided over by Rev.Fr.Dr.M.Swaminathan ,Secretary of the college. The Chief Guest was Mr. .R. Paranitharan, Chief Manager (Deposit and Value Added Services), Regional Business Office, SBI, Puducherry. Dr.I.Savarimuthu , Associate Professor & Head, Staff Secretaries of both shifts, Office Bearers of Josecom Association and 1st Year UG Students participated in the event.

Dr. A.Johnbosco,ย Assistant Professor of Tamil was adjudged as " Aaivu Pani Semmal" for his Research submission on Vallalarin Puratchi Sindhanaigal in an International Conference in the Second Annual Ceremony organized by All India Tamil Writers Association, Kanyakumari District Thiruvarul Association,ย Nagercoil World Tamil Poets Association and World Tamil Poets Association at Agatheeswaram, Kanniyakumari.
