St. Joseph’s Journal of Humanities and Science ISSN: 2347-5331   publishes critical and in-depth research articles in humanities, social sciences and sciences. Instruction to Manuscript Preparation 

 

  • Use a normal, plain font (e.g., 12-point Times Roman) 
  • Each section should be number in Arabic numerals, e.g (1. Introduction, 2. Materials and Methods.etc.). Each section may be split and numbered as 1.1, 2.1, 3.2 etc., 
  • Use tab stops or other commands for indents, not the space bar.
  • Use the table function, not spreadsheets, to make tables.
  • Use the equation editor or Math Type for equations. 

 

Text Formatting

Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format only. 

 

Title
 
The title should be  Concise and informative. Avoid abbreviations if possible in the title. 

 


Author names and affiliations

Please provide the full name of the author or author(s) of the workand check that all names are accurately spelled. Indicate all affiliations after the author's name with complete institution address. Alteration of the authors name list in the manuscript is not accepted after acceptance. Adding and/or deleting authors at revision stage may be justifiably. A letter must accompany the revised manuscript to explain the role of the added and/or deleted author(s) should be produced. 

Corresponding author

The indication of the  correspondence authorof all stages of the article should be mention by using * symbol over the author in the manuscript.   Ensure that the e-mail address along with contact number is must be provided.

Abstract

The abstract should contain the purpose of the research work under taken, obtained results and major finding. An abstract is often presented inside the article must contain 150 to 250 words. Avoid undefined abbreviations or unspecified references in the abstract. 

Keywords  
 
Immediately after the abstract, maximum of 6 keywords should be provided. These keywords are used for indexing purposes in the journal. The keywords must be separated by
 semi colon e.g (water; air; fire).

Introduction 

The introduction should contain the brief idea of work done in manuscript. The introduction should not contain detail of history or literature review for science discipline. The drafting of introduction should be done in such a manner that reader should understand the need of work to the result of work done.

Results and Discussion

The result work should include the evaluation parameters with detail description of method and results obtain for the final selected batch. 

 

 

Table Preparation 

  • All tables are to be numbered using Arabic numerals and must be inserted in the manuscriptwherever is necessary.
  • Tables must be cited in text in consecutive numerical order, e.g., Table 1, Table 2, Tables 1-2.,
  • For each table, please supply a table caption (title) explaining the components of the table.
  • Identify any previously published material by giving the original source in the form of a reference at the end of the table caption.
  • Footnotes to tables should be indicated by superscript lower-case letters.

 

Figure Preparation 

  • Supply all figures electronically and numbering the figures as “Fig” and figure number, e.g Fig.1, Figs. 1-2.
  • Figures should be in the form of JPEG or TIF format and insert inside the manuscript. 
  •

Authors wishing to include figures, tables, or text passages that have already been published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright owner(s) for both the print and online format and to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. Any material received without such evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors.

Conclusion

The conclusion should not be more than 100 words which summarized the whole work briefly.

Acknowledgments

 

Acknowledgments of grants, funds, people, etc., should be kept after the conclusion. The names of funding organizations should be written in full.

 

Reference Style

 

The followingreference style should be followed in the journal. The reference should be number as [1], [2], [3] in the reference list and same style should be strictly numbered in the text.
