St. Joseph’s College of Arts & Science, Cuddalore gleams with 5(TN) Naval Unit NCC (Division II) Cuddalore. Since its inception and inauguration by commanding officer, Commander S.Murali and by the then Rev. Father Principal and Secretary A. J. Lawrence on 28th November 2005 with 30 senior division (SD boys) and 20 senior wing (SW girls) cadets, it has been very vibrant with activities such as Boat pulling, Sailing, Firing, Ship modeling, Semaphore, parade, wind surfing , Rigging, Adventure activities, First aid, kayak and culturals.

Activities:
Boat pulling, Sailing, Firing, Ship Modeling, Semaphore, Parade Training, Kayak, Rigging, Cultural, Trend Pitching, Social service activities, Disaster Management activities. The boat pulling and sailing are practiced during weekends at Chunnambar Lake, Puducherry and firing is practiced at the Head Quarters in Puducherry. Parade training is practiced at our college ground. Ship modeling is practiced at 5(TN) naval unit itself. The models of the warship are made by the ship modelers. Extension Activities:Cleaning Drives and Awareness Programmes, International Anti-drug awareness rally, etc.,
