A Seminar on Multidisciplinary Research Approach was successfully organised on 05 February 2026 at Rev. Fr. M.A. Ratchagar Hall by the Research Development Cell and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The programme featured Dr. Manimozhi Theodore, Outstanding Scientist & Scientist ‘H’ (Retd.), Former Chief-Coordinator of the ISRO–DRDO Gaganyaan Programme and Former Director of DEBEL & CAIR, DRDO (Ministry of Defence, Government of India), as the Chief Guest.

The seminar was presided over by Rev. Fr. Dr. M. Swaminathan, Secretary, in the esteemed presence of the Principal, Dr. M. Arumai Selvam. Dr. J. Jon Arockiaraj, Senior Vice-Principal, graced the occasion. The introductory address was delivered by Rev. Fr. Dr. S. Xavier, Controller of Examinations and Coordinator, RDC.

The programme witnessed the active presence of Rev. Fr. Dr. A. Alex, Dean of Studies, who coordinated the participation of Ph.D. scholars. Other dignitaries present included Rev. Fr. Dr. S. Charles Edison, Director - Media Centre & Sports; Rev. Fr. Dr. G. Maria Anandaraj, Alumni Coordinator; Dr. I. Savarimuthu, Vice-Principal (Students' Welfare), Shift I; Dr. R. Vidya, Vice-Principal (Students' Welfare), Shift II; and Dr. P. James Mary, Vice-Principal (Students' Discipline), Shift II.

The sessions were highly interactive and inspiring, with enthusiastic participation from PG students, research scholars, and faculty members. The seminar offered valuable interdisciplinary research perspectives and significantly contributed to strengthening the research culture of the institution.
